In an effort to create a more affordable option for mounting a bag to an arca rail, I’ve created the Bag Plate for Poors. Laser cut from 1/8″ thick stainless steel and adorned with the finest arca clamp and rail that China has to offer, I’ve spared almost every expense to produce a functional but affordable product. This plate weighs about 1lb 11oz. It features an arca clamp on one side to attach it to a rifle. The other side has a full length arca rail to allow use as a tripod platform. The slots around the perimeter are compatible with Coletac bags via the built in straps or 419 bags using the included hook and loop straps. The scallops on either side not only allow for the clamp to be reversed, but also fit nicely around a cattle gate or other props for extra stability. The width of the plate allows for a stabilizing platform for the shooter’s offhand. The goal is to pack as much utility into a package that is as reasonably priced as possible.
